I have a DVR which has an external drive. I connected the external hard drive from the DVR to my computer.
The problem is I cant access the files in the hard disk. The computer saying the hard drive has to be formatted. I dont want to format it as I dont want to delete my files.
Does anybody know how to access the files from the external hard drive without formatting.
You can't as far as I know, you can try the HD's manufacturer utility, such as seagate/naxtor HD tools. It has something to do with the MBR. Good luck!
