New member Username: NahatePost Number: 2 Registered: Dec-08 | Thanks, I already tried it,my problem isn't with the key, I just can seem to scan the antenna. I have the Ultra and that box works perfectly. My problem is with my VSPRO and new antenna that I just bought.When I try to scan the echo sats the "amc 6/c 72w" appears on the top right of the screen instaed of 119 or 110. Here's what shows on the "product info screen" model name: ODS7810PVR software version: vspro-081222a-11 loader version: 1.07 satellite: u006 micom version: 0.2 last update: dec 23 2008 Should any of the above values be different? |

New member Username: NahatePost Number: 3 Registered: Dec-08 | I subscribe to DN so I looked at the settings on the dn receiver and noticed something weird.in the "system setup > installation > point dish" menu the sat inputs are 77,72,61.5.and I'm receiving good signal and quality but when I scroll to 110 or 119 the green bar turns red.Why would there be a red bar on 110&119 and a green bar on 77,72,61.5? By the way,when I try to scan the vspro AMC6/C appears on the upper right of the screen instaed of 110 or 119.As I said notice the 72 on my dn box. Any help would be appreciated,Thanks in advance. all subscription channels are received but |

I believe that I have the DN 1000 antenna it's oval instead of round and the lnb is a DP PLUS, with 3 lnb's one for 110,one for 119, and one for HD (I believe the HD is 129 but I don't know for sure). New member Username: NahatePost Number: 7 Registered: Dec-08 | My vs-ultra is working fine with the dish500,I reviewed the posts on N2/N3 and see that it may not work for long after dn switches to n3. I just purchased a VS-Pro and tried to use with the HD 1000.4 antenna and found out that this new antenna is pointing at 72,77,61.5 and not at 110/119 like I thought it was. my questions are: Should I see if I can return the VS-Pro that I just purchased or will N3 most likely be cracked? If I set up the VS-Pro on a dish500 I assume that it would work for now,but for how long? BTW the d500 that I'm referring to is located at my other house so I can't connect the VS-Pro to test. Please tell us did Dish Network install your system? 1) what package did you subcribe too? 2) if I understand you, the Dish is pointed to Echo 6 @ 72.7 and Echo 4/8 @77.oW 3) Now you want to install another Dish for Echo 10/11 @ 110.oW, Echo 7 @ 119.oW and Echo 5 @ 129.oW There are (20) TPs @ 129 (15) of them in HD. Also AMC 6 Location is @ 72.oW Linear Polarization Echo 6 Location is @ 72.7W Circular Pol. If I am on track maybe I can also help? |

New member Username: NahatePost Number: 8 Registered: Dec-08 | yes they did install. #1 family package (basic), I expected to receive the dish500 but instead I got the new hd 1000. #2 Yes I've been awake for days thinking that my VSPro may be a clone but after reviewing the info in the dn rec, i see it's set up for 72,77,& 61,5. #3 Yes,but I don't want to go through the trouble of finding/installing a dn500 just to have it be obsolete in a few weeks time. Do you know if the VSPro will soon be worthless? Thank you. |
