My cousin box isn't working and he has the same as mine Panstar 2500A, which I converted to Puff, and his was also converted to Puff to but stop working, so what I did is downloaded the back to factory file FLU & 2500 and got back the ON on the display and then suddenly just went off and now I can't even get the power on it self. What to do here, please help ASAP.

Nalin if the box is dead how can he load anything? maybe a second life.
Firoz khan: Really speaking you have no option but to jtag and hope you will get it back. A jtag cable bought on ebay for as little as $8 and instructions are there at many sites jusing jkeys, etc.
I went on ebay to look for jtag cable and it has for 10 pin header and 20 pin header and my box has 9 pin, so where can I find that one. This seem very confusing.
The jtag connection is INSIDE the receiver. It is usually 10, 12 or 20 PIN. It has Nothing to do with DB9 cables andf 9 pin external connectors. The other end of jtag cable is 25 pin parallel port connector
