I have posted for help couple times but did not get any responses. Could you please try to help me out.
I have been using Pansat 2700A for couple years without problems.. but a month ago, it stopped working just before the full EMU bin came out.
I loaded the new bin for Pansat 2700A (version 203 full emu) and I get "scrambled" message. Here is what I did: Wrote down all the settings on the paper - Did Factory reset - Loaded bin 124 - Loaded new full emu bin 203 (Loader 27.02) - Configured the satellites (exactly the way they were there for the past 2 years) - Blind scan. It scans all the channels I want (including internationals)and I can see all the channels but still get scrambled message..
Is there anything I am not doing right? Please help.
Raj: The only thing I can comment on in your procedure is - did you do user setup (date, time, etc) before scanning? Try also autoroll off and auto roll on. The full emu bins sometimes take a little longer to autoroll.
Yes, after doing the settings, I did the user setup and then blind scanned one satellite at a time... same thing: "scrambled message". I tried turning off the autoroll, etc.. no good. Yes its been close to a month and I still haven't figured this out.... Would you think doing 1 satellite, blind scan, add another one, blind scanning would help?
No!! I haven't been able to get any picture at all... inspite of doing everything right.... I am going to do 1 satellite at a time.. Will give that a try and see if it works.
Everything is back and working great. Thanks for the help folks; especially Nalin.
It was the settings that were wrong; just pointing at the wrong angle.. everything was correct... for example: Sat 118 (Internationals) was pointing to 97.0W instead of pointing to 121.0W.. Lou, check your settings...
