Viewsat MaxHD No Video/Audio Issues

New member Username: The_fanPost Number: 3 Registered: May-06 | I recently got a Viewsat MaxHD, set it up and downloaded and loaded the latest PEG at [link removed] to the receiver. Sometimes when I switch from a channel to another and then return to that channel, I get "no video and audio" error. Also, some channels have no audio. Each time this happens and I reload the PEG file from the USB drive, everything goes back to normal. I have tried restoring factory default and doing everything from scratch several times now but this is still happening too often. Is anyone having this issue as well? Please help. |

Gold Member Username: PlymouthCanada Post Number: 6629 Registered: Jan-08 | The Fan Load the factory bin, the satellite info then the latest bin from viewsatusa.com. Do a blind scand then a autoscan. Then do a channels backup and you will not have problem.  |

I've done as instructed and spent over 2 hrs blind scanning each echostar satelite i can get signal from. I'm still having the same problems and I'm still having to go through the same drills in order to fix it. It's getting really annoying. It looks as if the STB is not keeping the new bin file I load onto it otherwise I shouldn't have to keep reloading it to get picture/audio. |

Here is the solution for dish Tp lost signal Go in Menu System information Code Menu Select Nagra Down arrow then select 00 01 00,01 01 00 and 01 06 00 and delete those 3 dish provider with "F3" on remote and load latest bin file, save and exit, wait that the autoroll found keys and all Tp come back |

With the viewsat, I get all Echostar signals depending on what frequency I set it up for. I am also getting good Q and S from Nimiq 1 and 4 (I think that's Canada) |
