I have pansat 3500sd box do i need to convert to puff.I have loaded latest bin file but when i do any scan(blind or sat) it will stop in between around 50% or 60%.Please give me right antenna settings for my configuration.my setup is 118,119,129,110 DPP44,Dbnd1,Dbnd2,Dual3,Sngl4 and it is using DP lnb.please help me
jay: You DO NOT install PUFF BIN for 3500. PUFF BIN is for old 2500 receivers converted to 2700 and has nothing to do with your receiver. The 3500 had a new set of BINs starting with 301, 302 etc. These are called full EMU BINs. 1.Note down your antenna and user settings. Delete all channels. 2. You start with factory BIN, and reset. 3. Then you switch off and on. 4. The you install the 301 BIN. 5. Then you go work up to version 307T. 6. Then after another switch off and on, 7. do user setup 8. Do One antenna setup and scan 9. Do the remaining antenna setups and scans. 10. Edit the channel list ad setup favourites and parental controls. 11. Save channel list. Watch TV.
Nallin thanks for info.Do i need to start from 301 bin after factory bin?.Can i directly flash to 307T bin.i did reset with factory bin X-05BL_061128_B80_304eubx_api.bin(Is this bin right!).Please tell me about my antenna settings for setup is for my setup 118,119,129,110 DPP44,Dbnd1,Dbnd2,Dual3,Sngl4 and it is using DP lnb
1. As far as sequencing of BINs - do whatever works - whether gradually or straight form 301 to 307T. 2. Your antenna settings using DP44, will depend upon physical connection to the input port. Here is a suggested setup 110W LNB type Dish-pro LNB Freq 11250 First TP 12224 V Motor off Switch port 2 (typical but could be different)
119W LNB type Dish-pro LNB Freq 11250 First TP 12224 V or 12239H Motor off Switch port 1 (typical but could be different)
129W LNB type Dish-pro LNB Freq 11250 First TP 12234 H or 12282V Motor off Switch port 3 (typical but could be different)
118W LNB type Dish-pro or Universal 2 LNB Freq 9750 - 10750 First TP 11715 H Motor off Switch port 4 (typical but could be different)
Note that with a fully Dish setup the input ports are different for 118 and 119
I am presuming that you have the Dish pro + setup with a 30" dish
