Question from a idiot, please help

A friend has a laptop computer in his car with a wireless connection. He says he cant download the bin on it, refuses to try because he says it will not work. Needless to say the rest of us did away with him, unable to find his computer. Anyway, can it be done with a wireless laptop in the wilderness? Why could he not have downloaded a loader and bin? We had the wires |

Gold Member Username: JustforhahasPost Number: 1583 Registered: Jul-08 | BTW...most laptops just have USB ports and NOT serial ports for null modem cables...so need an adapter or USB -serial cable, which many noobs have problems with, and getting the puter to recognize the receiver.. that link will help in that situation.. |

He had no idea what FTA was and just did not want to get involved. I on the other hand no zip about lap top computers, so I just wondered. It can be done though as long as you have the serial/usb adaptor.Good to know |
