Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3763 Registered: Oct-06 | If yo don't own an HD FTA receiver Don't purchase one yet Not at this time I do think all HD FTA receivers are way over priced at present time However around March 2009 will drop significantly With even more up to date HD receivers 1.2 Meter dish is more than suffecient for AMC-18 Signal is 40dBW Recommended size from 100CM to 125 CM according to Lyngsat It's also the same signal level for Hits On C-Band 105W using DC-II I'm predicting it will be hacked in 2009 |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3764 Registered: Oct-06 | "what u think of sv's claim to have an add on module" For an add on module then yo can get both DC-II and Dave Either one is 10 times easier than N*3 Dave is piece-a-cake I repeat piece-a-cake Despite their current card swap THEY'LL GET HIT PRETTY HARD The moment they come up with hardware solution Look Man Anything is hackable I do think N*3 will be hacked But the constant auto ECMs will discourage both coders and users There are many other easier PTA targets Coders are always going after D#N and B#V cuz there is no hardware add on If yo ask me what I think I think the good old days will be over in March 2009 Don't set high hopes on N*3 Add on hardware is the way to go now for any provider So coders better come out with hardware modules quick and go after Dave and DC-II before the fat lady sings And I do think they will |
