Bronze Member Username: RajmanPost Number: 13 Registered: Dec-07 | Using a Viewsat Ultra, 33" Dish and appropriate LNB. LNB=Standard 11250 22Khhz =Off 12224 Port=1 Upon Auto scanning I am able to get all channels except ZeeTV, Star1 and Star Plus. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

If you have Dishpro special LNB for 118.7/119 then you have two outlets connected to two different ports and scanned appropriately |

Bronze Member Username: RajmanPost Number: 14 Registered: Dec-07 | Thank You, Nalin Another thing that I noticed while scanning was that the Signal strength remains almost constant at aroung 85%, however the PQ tends to fluctuate between 45 & 85%. on another occsion I scanned TP 17 to acquire Star! and Star+, and TP20 or 21 to acquire ZeeTV. somehow this time round TP scanning does not seem to help. I already tried factory default and then loading the newest bin file. Thanks again |

Platinum Member Username: NydasPost Number: 12712 Registered: Jun-06 | Quality will vary between TPs. Depending upon the special LNB used, I found that setting it at 11250 and Universal 2 and a Blind scan sometimes works better than other settings - but the TP frequencies that come down are different from the published ones. Probably the 10750 or 10600 setting is the best and use Blind scan. Some of the channels might be numbered i.e. instead of getting star+ you might get TV 716. |

Bronze Member Username: RajmanPost Number: 18 Registered: Dec-07 | I am using a Circular dual output LNB. What would be the best settings LNB type: LNB high: LNB low: TP Freq.: Any help is greatly appreciated |
Platinum Member Username: NydasPost Number: 12772 Registered: Jun-06 | It has to be a LNB designed for 118.7/119 combo. LNB type: Standard or Universal2 LNB high:10750 LNB low:9750 TP Freq.: 11715 If it is a Dish-Pro LNB LNB type: Dsc-DP LNB high:10750 for 118 LNB high:112550 for 119 LNB low:9750 TP Freq.: 11715 for 118 TP Freq.: 12239 for 119 I said all that in my earlier post. |
Bronze Member Username: RajmanPost Number: 19 Registered: Dec-07 | Thanks Nalin It is a Dish-pro LNB After setting it as suggested by you, it is working correctly. Thank you. |
