New member Username: TpyperPost Number: 1 Registered: Oct-08 | After having reviewed most of the messages posted, I was able to determine that my Samsung HLR5067W is no longer worth keeping. I've had a problem with the picture for several weeks now, it appears that the DLP bulb, colorwheel, ballast, and power supply are all fine. The DMD board appears to be the problem. Samsung will not warranty the repair (TV is 2 yrs, 10 months old). Does anyone have any interest in it for the parts that are still good? I have the DLP bulb in the TV, a new DLP bulb as a spare, and everything else that still works in the TV. I'm willing to sell the whole thing cheap for parts if anyone has any interest in it. With so many people out there in the same boat that I am, I thought someone may want it. If not, it's going to a local TV repair shop, and if he doesn't want it, it's going to the dump. Let me know. |
