Bronze Member Username: KanishkPost Number: 20 Registered: Nov-07 | Friend of mine has has d*sh 500plus with 110,119 and 118.7 and a seperate dish for 61.5. All four connected to dpp44 feeding to two receivers. He just got another d*sh 500 pointed to 82 and 91 and the lnb is twin with built in switch. How can he connect this new dish to dpp44? What kind of set up he needs? Any additional switches or any additional hardware? Thanks in advance. |

Bronze Member Username: KanishkPost Number: 21 Registered: Nov-07 | Thanks Plymouth and King for the reply. But he is using all the in-ports of DPP44. How he is going to hook 81/92 to the DPP44? May be we will try Plymouth's method or may be as king suggested, he may not need 61.5. Thanks we will report back. |
Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3603 Registered: Oct-06 | He's using all the in-ports Are they all working well? DP44 is expandable Or combine two sats to a 22k Sw Fore example: 110 and 61.5 to a 22k sw 82/91 from a twin LNB or another 22k sw 22k ON for 110 and OFF for 61.5 22k sw has 2 inputs to 1-output Is like an A/B switch A and B toggle 1-on while the other off And vise versa Pretend D-Switch bellow is DP44 Antenna setup to each Sat must match 22K ON or OFF ![]() IT IS NOT THE GREATEST SOLUTION But will allow yo to interchange all satellites Most people 4 satellites more than plenty If this is not best solution Then be prepared for yor own custom wiring Time share is the only way to accomodate 6 satellites ![]() - Yo can also use 2 sets of this 8x1 switch - But each LNB must be dual - 2 identical switches directly fed from each dual LNB - 1 to each port of 8x1 switch ![]() |
