I just converted an old pansat 2500a to PUFF 290, and get scrambled channel. Are they down? I have a Viewsat and have had this old pansat for a while and decided to fix it for use in my garage/ card room. Thanks

You probably did not install the 253 boot/bin before installing the current puff_290

Go again through th efull process.
1. Revert to 2500 using Chancy's special loader and b60 boot
2. Install the 294T BIN.
3. Properly install PUFF BOOt/BIN 253 by Chancy or Fwank7
4. Onstall latest PUFF BIN
5. Doo user setup
6. Do antenna setup for one sat only
7. Do scan of that sat.
8. Do other antenna setups and scans.

Did it again and still have scrambled or bad channel. It shows PUFF on bootup and 290 on software and I have good signal and quality.

Try one of the other PUFF_290 BINs. If you have SW21 the use Fwank7 special BIN for SW21

I tried everything and then disconnected the satellite wire from the switch for a minute and then reconnected. Got the signal after about 30 seconds or so and i'm back..I was using 288 file though as part of testing everything and it doesn't seem to be causing any problems so i have kept 288 for now:-)
