Bronze Member Post Number: 73 Registered: Dec-07 | thats a no go..could there be something messed up inside the box??maybe a capacitor or something. |
Gold Member Quebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 4144 Registered: Jan-08 | David Unplug Power Cord for the night and check if it work tomorrow. I dont think a capacitor is blowed. The box does not boot. How it happened, on a new bin file or itself for nothing? ![]() |
Bronze Member Post Number: 74 Registered: Dec-07 | well it was running before the latest fix. i went to load it as usual via front usb port. the box didnt want to take the usb front or back so i just turned off. when i turned back on a few minutes later all i received was the blue screen. no words on the screen. cant even access the menu. |

Gold Member Quebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 4146 Registered: Jan-08 | OK Are you sure the Pc can communicated with the receiver? Do you have a error message on Pc screen? You need to choose the port 1 on tool menu in Loader. What is display when you do it? """"Press and hold front power button. Now turn on stb with back sw. and release front power button"""" Give me a clear answer on all these quetions. ![]() |
Bronze Member Post Number: 75 Registered: Dec-07 | THANKS PLYMOUTH...ok the loader wont detect the box. There is no error message that pops up. PORT 1 is the only option on the tool menu. PC port and the cable are fine. I used the same port and cable to put the latest file on my pansat 2700 few minutes ago. The only display i get doing the power button thing is "MAIN" |
Bronze Member Post Number: 76 Registered: Dec-07 | seems like the pc is not communicating with the receiver. i get this from the info button on the loader MODEL BOOT VER MAIN VER all come up blank |
Gold Member Quebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 4147 Registered: Jan-08 | David Unhook the LNB cable and power "ON" and check what is diplayed. |
Bronze Member Wenonah, New Jersey USA Post Number: 17 Registered: Jan-08 | david, Also make sure you are using the correct cable when loading from PC. There are different cables for different stbs. Once you are able to load from PC it should be OK. Hope this helps. |
