rule of thumbs in electronic is you can go reasonably to higher voltage in capacitors three times then voltage used by the board so you can replace the cap with 5oV or higher.

King by experiment we know old big capacitor never blow, today same capacitor are 1/4 size. Capacitors in power supply are very solicited, especially if the load is high.
I remember my fist video camcorder RCA made by Hitachi, RCA never broke and Hitachi alway broke, the difference was only capacitor quality inside.
