I notice on LyngSat that EchoStar 7 has 545 channels a lot of locals. I get about 284. Can someone tell me how to get all the locals or the 545 channels so I can get local football games?

Thanks

Rest of local channels is on 110 not 119
Listing on lyngsat is for 118/119
118 is international

It is possible that you set your frequency to 10750 MHz. Change it to 11250 MHZ then you will get more channels. I got 400+ on mine 119.

Good luck

Spot Beam
Yo'll have overlapped frequency
D#N along with many other providers use spot beam technology to service regional local areas by changing frequency or yo move few hundred miles at a time
That's called frequency pitch

So theoretically yo won't get all frequencies no matter where yo are. On yor tuner as they got about 1KHz minimum separation
Some frequencies will over ride the others
And it varies from one receiver brand to another
Spt Beam is set/controlled by provider's hardware utilizing satellite hardware capability

Playing with LNB frequencies can give yo all crazy things which I encourage members to do more often
HOWEVER
If carefully compare received channels yo'll see many are repeated as a result of over lapped frequencies

But I do think Sat-man meant missing local channels on 110

Anyway
Great job Quysu, yo are a true tester
Yo are one of few people on this forum that is willing to explore more
