TV blank when connected to PC (DVI-HDMI)

Hello.

I recently bought a used Sony KV30HS420, and I'm trying to connect it to my PC via the DVI out on my geforce2 MX. When i do this the screen is blank. The desktop does show up when connecting with s-video, but not the dvi. Any suggestions?
