Totally disagree, and recommend the Sonicview (SV) 360 over the Viewsat (VS), and I have both. Much better pic quality and EPG, along with PVR with the SV.
VS does NOT have better support than the SV, and in fact the SV usually has fixes BEFORE the VS, if you were to track and record this as I have done, the past year.

I'm sure you have NEVER even seen nor ever used any Sonicview, and speak without any knowledge of ANY other receivers other than "possibly" a VS. Also I have read your posts about VS and you are not even knowlegeable on those either. Your posts about deleting the keys were a real laugh.
i got vs ultra and it got really nice pic quality over sonicview 360 that my frnd got. am not sure if u can with sonicview 4000 but with ultra we can edit the channel names. price of sonicview is little less than viewsat but support is kinda same.
i have ultra on a 50' tv and its good and i agree that SV has support better then vs. the thing is SV bin releases first and after like 15 to 20 minutes VS releases. i like both. SV AND VS BOTH HAVE GOOD SUPPORT
sv has released files WAY faster than any other reciever out there . week after week for a very long time. sv files are normally out within 4 hrs of an outage. sometimes vs waits all night to come out. they are second to sv. but u cant go wrong with either. imo
