New member Username: Malik500Post Number: 2 Registered: Aug-08 | I have viewsat hd 9000 and I have echo3 61.5 bird, yesterday when i rescanned I got new 17 hd channels with no video for example channels numbers 502,505,507,510,512,513,516,518,521,524,525,527 etc. I have all in one 8psk card installed. below is the setting on TP it got scanned with no video. TP:12545 S/R:20000 Pol:V FEC:5/6 MOD:DVB. I tried to change it to TP:12545 S/R:21500 Pol:V FEC:2/3 MOD:TURBO8. but still no video. I know hd 9000 supports 1080i and 720p, and these channels are comming in 1080p. My question is, Does it still possible to get these channels in 1080i with some settings as I tried to do above or will there be new bin comming with this support? Does any body testing this? |

Bronze Member Username: Tdti1Post Number: 80 Registered: Mar-05 | Read it says nothing about channels in 1080P, Dish network gets there programming from C-band just like every other cable or mini dish provider, there is no broadcaster distribution 1080p to there customers, the only programming in 1080P is there downloads. I am Legend was the first 1080P download from Dish, it's simple to under stand, it would be impossible for them to send there customers 1080P on a channel as it does not exist, plus it would take at least 15mbps using H.264 DVB-S2 so if Dish ever did 1080P they would probably try using 10-12mbps and it would look like crap just like there current SD and HD, garbage. If you want 1080P download it or get a blu ray player. |
