Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3175 Registered: Oct-06 | Blind scan in general if yo don't know what channels yo got on a TP It shouldn't be used for PTA trust me TP scan or Channel scan is what yo should always use Designated channels are already preset at each TP upon scan If for some reason can't access a specific channel then that specific TP should be manually dialed and scanned Part of the Nagra back engineering is to create bogus Channels with PID that causes other channels conflict Since they don't use blind scan for paid service Blind scan is a great feature don't get me wrong But it could be used against PTA It has been used against in the past One time I posted about counter back engineering against VU-Sat They thought I was to scare PTA users Until Nite Rider 101 came along Not too many people always remember what I say Only Jeff does If yo wanna believe me that's fine If yo don't yo can join the others that think I BS These freq conflict only happen when yo do blind scan |

Gold Member Username: PlymouthQuebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 3151 Registered: Jan-08 | Yes i deleted sat in channel scan and setup sat i want scan and i do a blind scan. If your tuner inside your receiver is disaligned on Freq. You can have a duplicated because the bin give Tp freq and if its not the same , blind scan can be see as a different Tp freq and give you duplicated channels. But if you dont do a autoscan and do only a blind scan you dont have duplicated channels. I hope you understand what i explained |

You can have a duplicated" I'm gonna choose not to comment on this Plymouth Yo did the right thing by deleting what yo don't need and that's why yo don't see problems Let's leave it at that Also we are hijacking this thread |
