Problems with my pansat 2700A

i have a pansat 2700a and after an electricity loss on my whole block when we got it back the tv turned on but it says no signal..
any ideas
i put a new boot file and a new file but still says no signal

if you are using a switch you might have blown it.also check you settings in antenna setup

Switches don't usually blow after power outtages (it could happen, though, but very rarely), and settings won't just reset either, but in the FTA world "anything and everything" is a possibility. Re-check your settings, if they're wrong, for assurance, reload the latest working BIN file, do your own settings....and voila!!!

Antenna settings COMMONLY change by themselves, especially when inputting a new file. Switches are made VERY cheaply and blow VERY easily, especially with a power change. A simple cable connect/disconnest with receiver ON will kill a switch in a heartbeat, nevermind a power surge and outage.
