Connect ird to tv - Press Menu - Scroll to Accesories and press OK - Scroll to About STB now check if yor software version is KXKround or Summer a- If yor software version is Summer (older receivers) you must use the Summer to Kround conversion kit attached. CW 600S Premium as good as VS for color but less detail on 61" TV. Interface is better and easier on VS but less info. like when keys change it display on screen. |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3070 Registered: Oct-06 | That's cuz there is no HD out of S-Video Only component RGB or HDMI According to the specs Ultra and Xtreme the difference is the USB port Forget that I can evaluate video resolution professionally A simple comparison anyone can perform Compare any channel on FTA Vs DTV or DN Or comare any channel on FTA Vs Digital Cable Mainly with Sports I had a Samsung TIVO by DTV SIR-S4080R and a D10-300 both by DTV The Samsung much better quality, contrast and colors I find hockey best to compare cuz the puck is small and white background easy to spot FTA receiver makers think yo'll be happy for free to air so yo'll forget the video quality |

In holiday period some bin give very bad picture on Ultra and coders correct it on new bin better made. |
