Hi,

there is brackets providing the possibility to get 82-91-101-110-119 all together with a single antenna, but I don't need the bird 101, I need 97, so how can I proceed, or witch solution (other than diseqc motor, or multiple antennas).

thank you

Note: I have a 33' elliptical dish

Very difficult to get all of these channels without a real large dish

I would strongly consider 2 dishes or a 30" dish and a motor

I already have a 33" elliptical, and I don't want to install a motor (i use satllite in many rooms of the house). Normally I can get all of 82-91-101-110-119 but I need the 97 instead of the 101.

From 119 to 82 degrees is almost 37 degrees
If that is a 33" winegard or TERK antenna or geosat is at best 27 degrees

If 33 insh super dish at best yo'll get 30 degrees
Yo'll be wasting yor time

Do you have the Linear LNB in the center of your Circulars LNBs?

C/P
Pro Eliptical Satellite Dish
The ultimate satellite dish for any true tester. Comes with 3 circular dual LNB's and 1 linear dual LNB. Holds upto 5 LNB's.

Pick up any 5 satellites within 40 degrees of each other and get the highest signal possible on all of them. For example, satellites: 82, 91, 97, 110 and 119 all on one dish.

This dish is 37" wide and 30" high.

King: I have posted this several times and am posting again.
There ARE dishes in the market that COMFORTABLY scan 40 degrees. They are USUALLY WIDE 24" OR 33" and come with a special bracket to mount five LNBs, e.g.

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-5-LNB-Bracket%2FLNB-Holder-for-Elliptical-Dish-FTA_W0QQi temZ310064283363QQcmdZViewItem?IMSfp=TL0807041463r25458

So it is best if we can address the customer's need to replace the LNB for 101W with a LNB for 97W, instead of continuing to talk about 20 degree span. The 40 degree catch (e.g. 82-119 or 82-121) is a REALITY.

What do you mean by this?
So it is best if we can address the customer's need to replace the LNB for 101W with a LNB for 97W

Last time that I have check 101 & 97
were both using Linear LNBs.

I meant the customer's need to align the 101W LNB to scan 97W.
Just to bring this discussion to some present day problems for which I have not got any proper solution - Can I use the special LNB designed for 118.7/119W instead of the 119 LNB ON this special wide angle dish?
What modification to bracket, etc etc.?

The only dish I know that can do 5 sats 40 degrees is T-55
I don't discourage anyone from trying it

Yo need the type of bracket that can be adjusted in all directions
Tweaking a winegard 33" inch will simply be impossible
An oval 33" in width (not the height) with special curvature like the super dish or TERK DTV at best will get yo 30 degrees with no more than one FSS (linear)

Once yo set the dish for 97W
All other circular channs will be off
And vice versa

Even placing 97/110/119 on one dish is challenging enough

But go ahead try it
Yo might have more patience than me
let me know how that works
I'm more than open mind

King: Not only does it work, but it is sold In Toronto for $80-130 including 5 LNBs.
As I state before, dealer is adamant that he will not recommend it for the special LNB for 118.7 (in place of the regular 119 LNB). He complains of the bracket being inappropriate, hence I was wondering about changes to the brackets.

There is no doubt that the 82W-119W 5 LNB digiwave Dish works as stated in Toronto

I DO HAVE ALL OF THESES IN SAME DISH . use global cast dish 33' oval. but you habe to make your own bracket,

first you have to point to 97w and then a metal bar that you adjust each sat . i will work .

Vittu:
You have stretched my credulity to beyond the breaking point.

40 degree span on one dish is achievable -

beyond that is sheer fantasy.
