How to burn dvd's.................

Gold Member Username: Saqeeb9000Post Number: 3473 Registered: Oct-07 | i wanna know what is the bestway to burn dvd's ........i usually convert movies to dvd format.. but i am having lots of problem with dvd burner...sometimes movie doesn't get played on dvd player, sometimes dvd's get choppy etc at the middle of movie and then it get stop playing the movies.. so what is the best way to burn dvds? thanks in advance...... |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3003 Registered: Oct-06 | First use Sony media Get a burner at least 16X ($40 or so) Use a good software (I'm a mac user) Don't use higher than 5 Mega pixel when yo encode to DVD (4 or 5 is good) Bad media, bad burner or high Mega pixels the real source of DVD problems assuming yo don't damage DVD surface Yo wanna know something Blu-ray is amazing doesn't scratch as easy |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3012 Registered: Oct-06 | Like I said If yo can fit up to 4 hours on 1-DVD it's the equivalent of 4 Mega pixels if yo can't select that choice on AVS When yo play 4 Mega pixels on a DVD player it decodes it much easier without problems Blank Sony DVD media is great To make good DVDs It's a combination of: - Good DVD media - Good burner - Good software - 4 or 5 mega pixels compression pitch Yo'll make DVDs like a champ I have over 500 dvd collection many of them 2 or 3 movies per dvd shows etc. I use Panasonic free standing DVR unit with hard drive and burner and also mac with DVD studio pro Not one bad dvd I don't use DVD+R Everything is DVD-R |
