Hello ALL, To make a new box work for pansat 3500SD, I used the cable to connect the master and slave to do a Software Transfer. My Questions : 1) It comes with option for code and data a) What does code mean ? is it the Bin data or B-80 stuff b) What does data mean - is it channel data or satellite setup data??
2) When I do code transfer - it comes up with message "Failed to send data" after displaying File Saving data.
3) When I do a Data transfer - it save the data successfully.
Code has two parts - the part that you rarely need to alter (B80 in your case) and th epart that keep changing - the BINs. Because that part changes often and needs to be synchronised with the actual data part, the BINs usually come with the changed code and part of "data" . For practival purposes use "Boot" for changing the boot portion of the flash and use "BIN" for the BINs that are released every 5-30 days. Some loaders have option for installing the real data i.e. the sats and the your saved scans, or channel lists.
