If I install diplexers and use single cable run for OTA antenna and dish, will it work?

just remember if you are using disq. switch. hook up all the lines to disq. switch first than you take the out port from disq. switch to sat. port on diplexer.

also after you hook up everything and if you want to watch t.v from OTA, you have to turn your box off, so it will not interfere with signal..

Hi, will this same setup work for cable tv and satellite, instead of the OTA feed?

The photo illustrated cable/antenna, but I just want to make sure it will work for the cable.

Thanks

yes it will work with cable. just oonnect the cable to Ant. side ...
This is the way I have hook up to now.
I use it when the dish is down ...or bad weather and losing signal ...

I never had any luck with diplexers and OTA w/100' cable run.

probably did something wrong -- although it worked on a shorter test run.
