A friend give me a original Pansat 2500A converted to 2700 should one use a 2500 file or a 2700 ??

U MUST use files made especially for CONVERTED 2500-2700...they have not been created and released yet to fix this present ECM..but should be released in a few hours

they are in 2 formats...PUFF or B75...U can use either, based upon which boot file U use...

When new Pansat conversion files come out, they will be posted.

Go to Menu/system info and find out exactly what you have.
You can post it here if you like.

You don't need a link to find out what you have.
Just go into menu/System info and post what you have.

Ennino--not sure if you are asking how you know if the receiver is puff or b75 but if so, then you know by looking at system in the menu or booting the receiver. If it scolls Puff, then it's a puff. If you see numbers then it's b75.

However, if you are asking how to tell the difference between the two bins, it's in the labeling. You will be able to tell which is which.
