Bev has a new Mecm60 in the stream as of yesturday morning. Bev may or may not activate the Mecm60 by sending a new 0907 key. That we will have to wait to see what they do.
An Mecm is usually sent 1 hr priour to activation giving at least 1hr heads up of things to come. They must do this to allow for subs to update before activation, or their subs face black screens.
DN entered a new Mecm60 in the stream as well at approx 4:50 pm today. Guess they will both be gearing up to activate them in the next day or so. Prepare for some action from both the providers. _________________

To explain this new DN PID 0106 keys... and Bev PID 0907
Dishnet (DN) has introduced a new secondary key code and provider PID 0106...the usual main PID (Provider ID) is 0101...normally we change the keys and autoroll to keys 0101, which we must ALWAYS still keep updated and current...but with this new PID (intoduced originally 22 October) we cannot change these keys, and the autoroll doesn't input them, so a NEW bin is required whenever DN changes the keys in PID 0106...The new PID can be used on any specific channels that DN want to , so in many cases DN will input them on the PPV's, adult channels,and international channels..so that why U can get the regular channels with the older bins, but need a new bin for the channels that Dishnet (DN) uses the new PID 0106 keys now...
The same thing applies to Bev PID 0907 secondary keys...usually main active Bev keys are 0901, NOT 0907...but Bev can use either or both sets of keys 0901 or 0907....just like DN can with main active keys 0101 and secondary new 0106 keys now..ON ANY CHANNNELS THEY CHOOSE, WHENEVER THEY CHOOSE..OR ALL CHANNELS, IF THEY WISH..
AT THIS POINT IN TIME, U MAY OR MAY NOT MANUALLY INPUT THESE SECONDARY DN 0106 AND BEV 0907 KEYS MANUALLY INTO FTA RECEIVERS, BUT NOT SUCCESSFULLY TO CORRECT AN ECM..AND YOU DO REQUIRE NEW FIXES/FILES...BUT SHOULD GET SOME CHANNELS UNLESS THESE SECONDARY KEYS ARE APPLIED TO ALL CHANNELS...

Nfusion is now back up on IKS with both DN and Bev..
So are many other receivers with current files..Viewsat, CW, newer coo*lsats etc-most all back up now with DN and Bev...and same current files..newer file not needed for most..
Leave the autorolls on..just may need to do a rear switch reboot..
The previous ECM similar to this one reportedly had two different map types, and this latest one is including several maps. It (the ECM) won't take out all channels unless all maps are used in the ECM and associated with a particular provider ID we can't manually fix ourselves in the box menus. The affected maps will generally include groups of channels that together are of more value to the providers than the normal network ones/local ones, and these pricey channels typically utilize the alternate provider ID that DN/B3V (DN 0106- BEV 0907)introduced last year. So Adult, PPV, international channels... anything they make serious money on, will be protected with the alternate provider ID(s) instead of the regular ones. These alternate IDs won't work with manually entered keys, and they won't autoroll when you need to rotate keys.
The only way the new providers are able to be used are through new BINs that update them. Now, add the fact that many maps are being used, and that adds work to be done and extended times to getting the fix ready and released.
Basically, we have to sit back and be patient on this one. Good news is hopefully the coders will be ready for another one like this in the future from this encounter.

With the scare and rumours started by some people here, you will have to be doubly careful of scams. People will lure you to new or shady sites and make you pay money because many of the good sites are supposed to be "busted". Busted is a meaningless word because all these sites are fully active and doing business as usual.
Nalin...those sites U recommend for Viewsat are NOT safe and have lawsuits and unsecure database ..U have been advised here 1000x , plus every website on the internet has that same warning posted..

MOST RECEIVERS ARE UP ON BOTH DN AND BEV....ECM IS ALMOST OVER FOR MOST RECEIVERS..
Today (6 May) we had Sonysat, Extremeview Magnum, CW 3000 HD, New Improved VS Pro and VS 7000 PVR files released...
Yesterday (5 May) we had Skyview, Sonicview, Conaxsat, and Buzz Plus files released...
So that combined with the Viewsat and Captiveworks files, along with DONGLE IKS fixes for the Captain, Coo*lsat 8000, and Homesat releases from 2 days ago (4 May), most receivers are up now...still waiting on Pansat, Coo*lsat and a few other less popular receivers to release new working files..
BTW.. Nfusion and Neosat 2000 IKS has also been up..
