I won't keep this long winded. I am just really needed some serious help here. Roughly (9) Months ago, I bought (3) Brand New, Pansat 2700 Original Receivers. They have worked perfectly throughout that time frame.
When we went down within the last (1-2) weeks back, running whichever Bin it was at that time, something changed? I am now, not able to scan anything.
I upload the Newest Bin as per usual. Everything seems fine. Nothing has been touched as far as hook-ups, cables, alignment, etc. However, as soon as I start to scan, beit 110 or 119, nothing scans. Just reads 0 Transponders found?
The Level reads 99%, but there is No Quality reading? I just have no idea what has happened. I am watching Tv. just fine. Bin goes down, no worries. Upload the safest newest bin, and all of a sudden, my worls is black, on all (3) receivers?
If anyone out there, can offer advice, help, point me in a direction, that would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps it's soemthing to do with the settings within the receivers, that for some reason, have changed??? Don't even know if that is possible?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated, and I thank anyone in advance, for helping and or offering up some help and advice.
I am willing to try anything, so thank you for the advice. I just have one question? When you say do a Hard Reboot, what do you mean by that? I know factory reset. I know loading the factory bin. I am just not clear on the hard reboot?
Okay, I tried everything I was told. From the Factory Reset, to Hard Rebbot, to Factory Bin, to Hard Reboot, to Latest File. Nothing. Same thing. No Transponders, 0% Quality. This is what my screen shows:
LNB - Standard LNB Local Freq - 11250 22KHZ - Off Diseqc - Off Legacy SW - None Skew - -45 (Always read that way) TP (1) - 12225 V 20.000 Position Settings - Usuals Satellite Scan - All (Though I tend to do Blind Scan)
I know some people have said it could be the Capacitors??? I just found it strange, that the Capacitors, could go, on (3) machines, at the same time!!!!!
there is nothing wrong with your receivers how many satellites are you pointing at do you have a diseqc switch?if so you need to assign ports in settings post here so we can help you further
Okay, so you mean to Edit Transponder 1 to the new Freq. of 12244 If so, I did that. Now the Level doesn't read 99%, it reads about 83%, but nothing scanned.
I posted too quick. Channels are starting to scan. It's going slow, sitting at 15% right now, but (14) channels have thus far scanned for Bell 91. Now jumping to 21% and (26) channels. I will just let this play out, and then let you know what happens? Thus far, Thank You All So Very Much. I will keep you posted.
I applied the 263. I did satellite scan. Again, Only H Transponders scanned. Nothing for V. Also, it says wait for picture, but it's now around 2000%???
have you tried this? if not do so also i don't know where you get your files from, but i suggest you get a fresh copy from the official release site and try. also download factory file from pansat usa site
May I ask what the Factory File will be called, or listed as, at this site you mention? I will then download that, start over again, using this fresh file from this site.
Do I still have to change 110 & 91 to 12244 and 119 to 12457? Also, I haven't been able to change my 119 to 12457? Each time I edit it, it doesn't stay switched.
Okay, here is the breakdown after an afternoon of Wonderful Help, and alot of trying things.
(1) Receiver is back up and running. I did factory reset, hard reboot, factory bin, hard reboot, then bin 263. I then scanned 110, and the world lit up.
(1) Receiver, is back up and running at 50%. I did the same steps as above, and scanned 119. However, Only Horizontal scanned. So it's wide open, for everything H. Nothing vertical is there. Not the end of the world, but funny.
(1) Receiever, isn't doing anything. Again, same steps as above, but still, nothing is scanning. Just reads 0 Transponders found.
So I am not sure if that receiver is a dead one, or not? Reset, reboot, factory bin, reboot, bin 263, still no Transponders?
I am very greatful, and very much do appreeciate the help that came my way this afternoon. Everyone was great, and had so much advice, help, and info. I can't believe I am actually back up and running, through all of the help. Thank You All So Much.
I am still curious, why the (1) receiever can only scan H, and not V, or V, and not H.? That I wonder? I also wonder why the other receiver won't scan anything?
