| ok here is the most simple question so I need a simple answer.. I want to get rid of my computer desk and hook up my computer to my tv and ditch my computer monitor. I have DVI input on my Tv and would want to get a ATI card with DVI output. But my main questions are: 1) is the picture going to be big enough and clear enough to use my TV as my monitor and 2) is this an easy thing to do *computer to TV through DVI? here are the features of my TV: 40" (Diagonal) 16x9 HDTV Monitor Progressive Scan 3D Y/C Digital Frame Comb Filter IntelliFocus Digital Auto Convergence Dual HD Component Inputs (SYNCROSCAN) DVI Input with HDCP - New Connectivity Sub-Woofer Output Virtual Dolby Link: http://www.rca.com/product/viewdetail/0,2588,PI700215,00.html? |
| ok to answer ur questions,... 1) the picture will only be as clear as the resolution (800x600, 1024x768, ....etc), and it should fill the screen; 2)it is easy as long as u position ur computer near the DVI port (or on the side) so the cable can reach between the two. |
