i bet this guy dos not get all ch he will get about 60 ch like with his cw800 that he sent back its not the boxes that dont work right its you we tell you look to see if you got switch if so take it off run cable from dish to box if you get 60 ch you need to move the dish its not quiet on the sat your close but not on i think your going to have the same truble
Bruce...I've been following what he posts...thats why I suggested he do some reading..U are exactly correct..he has no clue what he's doing, and listening to the wrong people...there was nothing wrong with his previous CW receiver, but nalin and her aliases, steers him wrong as usual..
if ya get 60 channels...u have either a dish alignment problem, bad cable connections, or bad receiver settings..or just need to do a correct scan..the receiver is fine, if it wasn't OK, u would get NO channels..
The CW is very easy to use, which he found it user unfriendly...the CNX Mini will having him pulling his hair out, even though its a fairly simple receiver too..
I'm just gonna sit back and watch the "nalin show", destroy this guys receiver and patience...LMAO

one more thing,this hobby is about patience and persistence.like LK and bruce are saying in the above posts,you have to follow the instructions that are given to you,because if you are not prepared to check a simple thing like a switch,then you will not get help,because we don't know what your set up is good luck
ok guys, as ive told you, i am new at this fta hobby. i had a cs5000 which was set up by the seller, and i couldnt find this guy anymore. (he's probably in jail by now)anyway, my cnx mini is still sitting here useless. i agree, there was nothing wrong with the cw800 that i returned. and i am not using a switch either. i already checked it out. i just dont know how to program this box, thats why i need anyones help to program the cnx mini. do i have to load a factory bin file before loading the new fix? and so, what settings should i use in the channel search?
