I just bought a LCD RP 50" Sony and am getting really bad headaches and nausea. Is that from the technology? We previously had a 32" Proscan direct view and I was fine. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
I experienced milder symptons with my Hitachi 50v500. With me, it was because the screen was so much bigger, clearer and brighter. I got used to it after a little while.

How close do you sit to the TV?

The sofa is about 13 feet away. The loveseat is about 10 feet. It's the weirdest thing. I can't tell if my eyes are sensitive to this type of technology, or if it's something to do with the new bright, clear, large, flat screen tv that is overwhelming them.

May be it is the big fixed pixels that your eyes are not use to. Like looking at a stadium screen, very "un-natural". Try watching a big screen RP CRT TV and see if you have the same problem. Hopefully, your eyes will get used to it.
