Here is the new PUFF 253 bin for those who want to start converting to PUFF now. Also is the Loader and Boot60 zip. In that zip file is the 2700 to 2500 convertor loader by Chancysand as well as the boot60 bin file. Jvvh_Fortec-Pansat_CanAm_(PUFF)_253(640k) bin is the "MUST LOAD FIRST BIN" to get you converted to PUFF. Quote: How to Load. Open 2700 to 2500 Loader Converter. Click Bin File, choose Boot60. Turn reciever ON. Let reciever fully boot up ,soon as you see ON hit Download. Write will complete in 10-15 seconds. Reciever will self reboot with knight rider dash (- - - -) rolling across display screen. LEAVE RECIEVER ON DO NOT TURN IT OFF. Open FortecStarSTB loader or whatever Loader you use before. Load Jvvh_Fortec-Pansat_CanAm_(PUFF)_253_(640K) bin. Hit Download. After download complete reciever will pause on dash. Reciever will self reboot to knight rider dash (- - - -) "again". It will pause on 4th dash for 3-5 minutes DO NOT reboot reciever LEAVE it alone. Reciever then will self reboot with P U F F _ P U F F then pause on F for 30 seconds then display ON. You can then load channel list Or just hook up to Sat cable and TV and rescan your sats again. I myself did a Factory Setting in main menu first then rescan my Sats. Thanks again to Jvvh for all he has done and also Ukronic for all he has done for me!! Set Default Key and let it A/R. Turn A/R OFF (except Key Code) if experiencing rebooting issues. No need to do a factory setting in main menu if your not having problems. Do one if you are experiencing problems. Both bins are clone safe. Jvvh_Fortec-Pansat_CanAm_(PUFF)_253. "Original 2700 Bin Modifyed & Compressed by fwank7" Using "Jvvh" name in bin as a sign of respect to the 2500 to 2700 conversion creator. fwank7!! |

There are three other b75 conversion BINs (jvvh_ Saif, and Lothario.) They have adopted a convention that PUFF BINs will have the word puff in it. unless you have installed PUFF boot, do not use PUFF BINs. |

But if you haven't scanned any channels you cannot use parental control. In short, you have to scan at least one sat before Parental control becomes active. |

In my case, yes I downloaded the right file , i.e. Pansat-C 2700 254v1 TiVo.bin for the pansat 2700 clone. It worked for one day normally, until the keys had to be entered. Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 8918 Registered: Jun-06 | Bubbus : You have 2500/FLU already converted into which you loaded the BL 253 BIN meant for genuine 2700 receiver. Now your receivers are in deep coma. 1. You could use "revert to 2500". You have to use a special loader file for 2700 to 2500 conversion and then select Boot and load boot 60 into the receiver. You can try by attemting to load it the b60 boot after keeping the receiver on for about 1 minute, or as soon as your turn the swithc on or click "write" and turn switch on or click write and toggle the switch twice. Somehow you have to coax the loader into loading b60 by giving it th eopportunity to communicate with the RS232 port properly. Eventually, if you are successful you will see a horizontal scroll of "-" sign. You have won half the battle. You can then proceed to b75 boot or to PUFF boot and the latest appropriate BIN. There are enough instructions in the latest full_kit - both in the b75 and in the PUFF section. Print them out and read them. There is also a separate b75 boot file in the b75 section under "may be needed directory" You may try and coax that Boot file in if you fail with coaxing b60. If all else fails, you will have to jtag. Whatever method succeeds, please post your experience in detail for others to benefit. |

It stays like that for 2 to 3 minutes sometimes 5. Then the message "scramble channel" comes on and the image comes back again. It has been like this since last week when I input the keys manually. Please help me out, this is becoming VERY ANNOYING. I will really appreciate any input.  |

Platinum Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 14433 Registered: Jan-06 | That is common with Coo*lsats and Viewsats now...not with CW's...but all U can do is a hard reboot using rear switch, power OFF for 2-3 minutes, then power on...this is more noticeable when keys change...DN is probably playing in the stream again now..more likely the next new fixes will resolve this issue.. |

I dont know wat i have wrong... and now my receiver is showing BLANK.. I mean when i do 8282..so as to go to keys... ITS all blank,,, only ZERO appearing Usually there were Numbers on these ??..
