I have to satellites and cannot get channels from both on my CW800 PVR. I am using a Diseq (i think i got the spelling right) where i can get all three lnb hooked into the cable box entering the house. however, i can get channels from one dish or the other.. and channels of the other tell me that the signal is weak... do you have any advice on this issue?
your antenna settings may be wrong, go to menu>satellite and you will see settings there post settings for all three sats so we can help you will see things like lnb type frequency switch etc etc
Hi Again... after writing the settings, i found that i had diseq set as none... i set it to auto and it worked...
so here is another question: dishes 119W and 110W, do they have the same channels? cause they sure looked like they did when i scanned the channels of both...
is there any reason that i should have both connected?
also... should i have the diseq setting as auto or put the actual lnb number? would it make the transition from one echo 3 to echo 7 faster, and vice versa?
ok guys.. me again... transition from the channels of one satellite to the other takes over a minute... is there a way of have the transition somoother?
Second Satellite: Echostar 7 (119 W) echo star 7- (119w) transponder: 12224/v/20000/5/6 lnb freq: 11250 lnb tybe: normal 22khz: auto diseq no : auto legacy sw : 0ff motorised system : none
Second Satellite: Echostar 3 (61.5 W) echo star 7- (119w) transponder: 12224/v/21000/500/2/3 lnb freq: 11250 lnb tybe: normal 22khz: auto diseq no : none legacy sw : 0ff motorised system : none
thanks guys for the response... what i did was put 119 on 1 and 61.2 on 2.. and transition is just beautiful.... i dont have the 110 connected.. when i connected a while ago it downloaded very smilar channels to 119... is there a difference between the channels of 119 and 110? is it worth going through the trouble
