So thats all and look like I am damm since i did factory settings which may also cause more problem. Please justify why I lost parental control menue, where I should normally go choose dishnet and then Autoroll. Why I can bring back this option? Do you thinks my boot file is wrong then which is right one and where to get right one? One last thing if I reset from back of the receiver display blink with number 6---7---5 then receiver goes to ON mode and thats all.
Please assist so I can move on. your assistance will be appreciated.
Saika: Very good and detailed information. 1. Do User setup 2. Just set up Echo 7 (119w) - nothing else.
LNB Type - Standard (try ocs and dish-pro as well) LNB Local frequency - 11250 22khz - off Diseqc # 1 also try 2,3,4 as well Legecy SW - none Skew - -45 TP (1) 12224 V 20.000 (Try 12239 V as well) Position Settings - USAlls - tried all satellite scan - all
Do a Blind scan.
If no success, then install the genuine 256 or 254 BIN ([link removed]) and try as above. Make sure you use Loader 27.02
I concur with Nalin - the local frequency for a standard LNB should be set at 11250, not 10750. That is your problem right there. Anyway just by selecting "Standard" in the LNB field the frequency should automatically revert to 11250. Tried a list with that setting a few days ago and had no signal...
