Hi guys,

Just converted FLU-2700 to PUFF (I think I did). When I checked systm info on menu, it reads: Cl safe
PUFF:75-256T_EUbx
Boot version:75
13-March-2008

Receiver is working fine. It took a while to autoroll (went upto 900%). But why Boot version 75 and not 60. Thanks in advance.

Very interesting observation.
Technically it is correct. However, it is very confusing for everybody. They should make sure not to use the word 75 in PUFF and vice versa.

Explanation
There are really only two BOOTs - the b60 that exists on Pansat 2500/FLU and b75- that exists on Pansat 2700 for the past year or so.
In order to be able to use the Pansat 2700 software, you need b75 BOOT. Now comes the deviation. In order to create more space, some of the coders took out the background picture from the BIN and made it a part of the BOOT. So PUFF is still the b75 boot but has the background picture included there.
I think fwank7 and Chancy (and Nick and Lothario and Saif) should co-operate and remove the word 75 from the system info in PUFF BOOTs.
