I have GTRom Loader v27.02 [Pansat2700A - B75] when i downloaded the bin x-87bl_080225_b75_253_api, from my computer to receiver, nothing happened. it always says 0%. I did step by step: 1. Connect RS 232 Null Modem(#2,3 crossed) cable between the receiver and PC. 2. Turn the receiver power ON. 3 Open the GTRom Loader 27.02 (Pansat 2700A). 4. Click BIN FILE and select the Bin File to be downloaded. 5. Select FILE TYPE and click Download. 6. Do not interrupt the receiver power while downloading. 7. Press OK after Download Complete!! appear on the PC screen. my info fro pansat2700a: X-87BL API:75-2.17_EUBX BOOT VER: 75 09 OCT. 2007 |

I followed the below instruction: ----------------------------------------------- Go to Menu, Channel scan, not go to Tp 12443, and then at the bottom select the color that says "ADD USER CHANNEL", when you do that a box appears, where you can enter the info below. Then do the TP scan and the channel will be named "USER CHANNEL" you can do the same for any reciever, all you need to do is edit the TP info, and this can be done in any boxes heres the info you need to enter Coutesy Dizasta Echostar 3 12443 TP V5666 A5667 P5666 ------------------------------------------ I followed the above instructions but i cant get Star Plus. I had a very old bin file, which had been installed by the person whom I had purchased my Fortec Ultra. The bin file was dated 2004 and had never been changed. With much fear, I decided to attempt to change the bins myself. After several days of searching on the internet I came upon your posting with the "full kit" and with all of the information provided, I was able to install the bins and although i am not sure, I have converted my Fortec to something else...(can you tell I don't know what I'm talking about? . I was thrilled when I saw all of the channels reappear before my eyes, but now today, the channels seem to be down again. I have the updated bin 75-253T Boot ver.75 25 Feb 2008..I would like to know is there some other file I need to download to my Fortec Ultra to bring the system back up again? or do I wait for new keys? Please let me know the name of the bin file? and would greatly appreciate it if you would give me the link. Again, you have been the most amazing help. |

Then start all over again. READ the instruction in the main full_kit. In most cases there is no jtag needed. Suggest you wait for the new BIN before attempting aything further. |

Everywhere where I have posted I have alerted people to the fact that for conversion only use the conversion files. As I said earlier and I am repeating it The 2500s and flus are very tolerant of abuse. You should make every effort to bring them back to life using serial loads and using revert to 2500 method. |
