Can somebody PLEASE HELP..... I have Viewset Ultra, I tried installing a new bin on it & during the process of installation it freezed & now I can not see any power coming in my box.... Please advise what went wrong & how should I fix it
Sorry for asking these layman Qs but I have never done it before. So, Plymouth, should I take out all the wiring for an 1 hr. & than connect it again to see result ???
Thanks Plymouth.... African, rightnow it seems that current is flowing my box because its showing ---- on the screen , whereas earlier it always use to show the channel# & something on TV screen as well. BUT now TV screen is blan & only dashes --- on the box
African, I have unhooked the main power point & will try to leave it for an 1hr as suggested and after that also if it only shows the ----, how would I download factory file ?? Also is factory file is same as Bin files?/ Please advise

____________ then after that u get the loader i belive thats also in that site...connect the receiver to pc turn the ultra off then click to choose bin (factory file) then download it wait for 5 seconds and turn ur receiver back on...that will help..then u load the latest bin...hope that helps if it sounds confusing i will help u further..;)..take care
mamta' go to the viewsat site and download factory file i think it is 131 then unzip it and load with cable you will need a loader as well.use loaderII make sure box is OFF,bring unzipped file to loader and press pc to usb and then turn receiver ON. once that is done make sure until it is complete,and then load latest bin i have to go to work now,but i will be here in the morning if still need help,or you can go to crazyfta. add ask Bruce to help you in the chat box
mamta, i am at work so can't help you a lot but you need a null modem cable,borrow one from a friend or buy a rs232 cable from radio shack and and a null modem adapter (male to female) total cost about $24 or if you have an fta dealer near you it is about $5 for a null modem cable
with the cable from your computer . Go to: <[link removed]> download this 2 files: PVR Loader v11 - Firmware Updater ( Serial)you install this one on computer VS2000 ULTRA Factory Bin File - V131 for download with the loader in your receiver
close rear switch on receiver open program take file v131 clic to download in receiver and a second after switch on the transfert take 5-10 mins you must see 0000 download the last bin with USB Good luck
