Samsung Tv Issues

I recently wanted to go to HDMI but when I plugged in the HDMI cable to the port on back of the tv I get nothing. I have tried 3 different HDMI cables all with no luck. I have a smaller tv that uses HDMI and everything I plugged in worked. IS there some kind of issue with the HDMI port?? Is there a cost evvective way to replace the HDMI port??

Tell them the whole story -- but only after you try this long shot first: Turn on the TV first, and only after it's fully warmed up then turn on the HDMI source device. Good luck.
