Just a quick note. Which of the receivers would be considered "obsolete" for pirating programming? I assume the FLU, but what others?

i think only flu would be considerd obselete.. but isn't flu is operated by pansat... or is it diff..

Yep! FLU/Pantec/2500 to 2700 never had one but if you are really into testing nothing is obsolete. My C/S 6000 works great on card.

As of today, if you compare the reception on a Fortec Lifetime Ultra (converted to 2700) with that of Viewsat Ultra, you will find that there are no freezes on the FLU and the reception is perfect - certainly the FLU wins.
