Level all over the place on Pansat 3500sd

My level is jumping all over the place? the level is going from 33 % to 83 % to 99 % and then it start all over again? How do i fix it?

Is it very long? if there is any doubt, it might be easiest buy another length, hook it up temporarily and see what happens. Remember to turn off your STB at the back before disconnecting it, else you may damage something. Htiek
