First you will need the following: - Ariza Receiver (obvious) - a RS232 NULL Modem cable - Computer (WinXP) - STB Downloader (program to download file to receiver) - The CORRECT BIN file for your receiver! Make sure of it! If not sure, ask! While you have your Ariza running (power on and sat connected) reset the unit to factory default. Just go into menu and select Factory Setting, enter the pass g0000 and OK. Now turn off, disconnect everything. Put one end of the RS232 cable into receiver and the other into your computer. Plug in the receiver power cord. Now open STB Downloader program and select which COM port is working for you. Then click BIN File and point to the BIN file, make sure itfs the correct version. Click Download. Wait for it to complete. Do not play with the receiver or any cables. When it says g0000 on the receiver then turn off power, disconnect. Connect back to tv,sat..etcc Turn it on and select language. Installation > Antenna Setup > Select which satellite > Select LNB Type (standard) > Any other setting you wish to change like if you have a DiSEqC switch. > Now EXIT. >> Power Scan > Make sure the settings are correct > Then scan.. Now when the scan is finished, exit all the way to TV. Donft worry if you see a black screen because it is normal, for this you have go into Parental Control > Press gIh and g2004 on your remote. Go down to Key EMU and turn it ON and Autoroll depending on file. Then EXIT. Enjoy tv. |
