hey guys well i just got an nFusion and i need a littler help...so i scanned the sattelites but how do i get the IKS....keys in the box if i dont have th wireless thing for the box???? can i just plug it in to my wirless router that has ethernet cable inputs??? does it work like that??
ok first of all did u download the bin.. first time u have to do it mannually [link removed] go there register and download the loader and bin 1.43, (if u haven't already downloaded).. when u are done.. connect the network cable from rec to back of ur wireless router. .. then go to menu using ur remote and go to sw version .. it will give you sw version 1.43.. this mean u are using iks... next time u can uploade new bin just using ur remote...
ok i got that but thing is that my router is in the office and the nfusion is in the bedroom....so can i just use the internet to update keys then use no internet to go wtach tv??
don't think so ...just buy a netgear.. it cost $ 50-$ 75 i think.. and just plug into anyoutlet.. it will catch signals from ur wireless router,, b.c for nfusion it need to be connected to internet to make it work...
ya i have problem uploading bin 1.43....i presses start down...then a box pops up sayinyin turon off and on...then i pressed ok turned the box then on and it shows the channel i was on and a red dot by it...is it downloading?????? and the window on the computer went blank
what do u mean? did u download the bin 1.42 succcessfully.. now plug it back in to ur tv and connect network cable etc... now using ur remote go to menu, internet ,sw version and do an upgrade from there..
i need help oploading stuff....y doesnt it work??? i tried to put in the 1.42 bin...same thing as 1.43 it just shows the channel # wiht red dot and the uploading program on the computer its window is blank.........is that supposed to happen?????
try to download bin 1.39 or 1.40... and then do an upgrade from remote.. if nfusionforum is not working properly try downloading from [link removed] or [link removed]
ya...i tried what u said sada but im still stuck where it says to reboot after u press OK...i do that but the winow is still blank and the downloading process doesnt beggin...i dont kno wwhat to do
which bin u are trying to download? get the loader from ftaview.. if nfusionfourm is not working.. download anybin 1.39,1.38 or factory bin .. any thing
ok it worked!!!!!! i used a different cable and it worked and restarted the computer...1st downloaded 1.39 the 1.43....ok well thanks for your time sada.......so now does it have the latest keys??
yes finally glad to hear that.... ok now don't worry about anything... it will work like a charm... as long as your internet is up it will run smoothly..
its fta rec like viesat, pansat etc.. the diff is its connected to internet (no need to turn on comp).. and its up most of time.. [link removed] go to this forum scroll down.. u will see pic of this rec..
ya ...i learn that today lol u r right "Not Today"......ok so like i said i have wireless router...what exactly do i need to buy so that my nFusion gets internet???...i know i can plug it in wiht ethernet cable but my office is too far from the bed room ...i dont have a ethernet cable that long....so what do i need so i could get the wireless network to the nfusion??
b.c it comes with the nfusion... thats what i heard mine didn't... check nfusionforum.com (when they created nfusion rec).. they knew that not everybody has comp close to ur tv.. many people are using it ...and it works..trust me. its like a wireless router.. it catches the signal from ur wireless router and transfer it to the rec...
I have two questions regarding nfusion if someone could please let me know. Does it go down as often as other receivers ? And how long it approximately takes to get the new file ? Regards.
no blue it doesn't go down as other rec... last file came after 2 months .. and they just did an update (although rec was up) alreday... i bought it couple of months ago and it was down for probably 1 -2 hrs
