It seems that a lot of people here are somewhat disapointed with some of the top brands who have not yet released updated fixes for Bev. I figured that maybe I would try to clarify the issue at hand so that people understand that it's really something that has been done for the greater good.
For those of you who are living on the moon, tomorrow is Super Bowl, the most watched televised event on the planet. It is also historically a day when satellite fixes are known to go down or be tampered with.
For this reason, it makes sense that some brands have not yet released fixes for Bev. This is because they anticipate that either Dish or Bev will go down tomorrow, and figure instead of releasing it now, they will release it tomorrow which makes it harder for them to make it go down. If they were to release it now, both providers could go down tomorrow, then everyone would be left with no television. If they wait, at least they can ensure that one provider has no time to take the fixes down before the big event.
smoke74, I think you live in the moon, you said "Super Bowl, the most watched televised event on the planet" I don't think so buddy, World cup of soccer every years is the most watched event in the whole planet.
Hey stinko dinko, if you noticed I asked the question Does This make sense? I c/p that article from another site and asked the question. And I believe that the superbowl is the most watched program every year, other than the world cup final every 4 years that might pass it. Your arguing apples and oranges.
