What does this mean? By going to that channel, the EPG will populate fast? Is there a way to get the Viewsat Extreme to populate more than just 2-4 hours ahead from the current time?
up refree depend on reciever.. i think viewsat does do depend on what kind of dish u have.. go to wgn channels if you have 119 dish .. it also work with 148 dish..leave it for few minutes 3-5 minutes.. u will be able to see epg for more than 2 hrs.. like for example on my nfusion rec i have epg button and i go to wgn channels and press epg and it gives me epg for 2-3 days same with koolsat 6100 shows about 7 days.etc.. for list of all epg channel for different dishes check my forum at www.desi*fta.co.nr (remove*)
Thanks for the info. When I went back to see if I had an EPG button (don't see one), I noticed by being on 145 for a few minutes, the EPG did populate up to 24 hours in advance. I suppose the Extreme's EPG does not extend beyond 24 hours like the newer receivers do (up to 7 days).
