Can someone help me in setting up bev.

I am looking for Ind vs Aus series which is coming in Bev CBN channel # 730 on Nimiq 2 (82 degrees)
I have viewsat PVR 7K..
Using DN DPP44 switch outside (Next to Dish) and a DPP 44 power aupply inside.. both from DN

My location is Lat: 38.647 & Long: -121.128
I have a superdish (using 3 ports to get DN channels) and dish 500 (Single LNB)

I have the following Dish Setup
Elev: 29.7, Azimuth(magn) : 112.7 , LNB skew : -38.3

I am neither getting a good signal nor quality (0%)
Is it because I am using the DPP 44 switch ?

Any help is appreciated.

bongu,

dish switch will not work with fta, spend 10 bucks and buy a fta switch or direct line to lnb.

I dunno about dpp44, but dp34 works on my vs boxes, but I need to put in a d pro adapter to give more juice to the switch, vs can't support enough juice.

but always a good idea to deal one problem at a time from the simplest set up, African is right, don't use the switch for now, just connect the cable directly from lnb to your vs.

Thank you all for your replies..

I am currently getting 3 DN sats (110,118.7,119) using this switch.
So do you guys mean BEV wouldn't work with DPP44 switch ?
I have a 4in1 DISEqC switch (SW-41) and will try using that.

Afrian, Thanks for the reply, but I would have to get a bigger cable to test that way or take the TV out to the backyard..

All my cables are internal to the junction box in front of my home from the Dish Satelite at the back of the home.

bongo,
you already have the cables to the switch, all you need is a co ax coupler to join a cable from one lnb to the wire coming in the house for test purpose.total cost $1 at radi shack or home depot
PS.you do this where your switch is so no need to run any extra cable.need any more help let me know
