i wanna move my receiver to another room, but the cable obv is too short for that so im just wondering if i can get an extra cable to connect it to the cable coming from my dish to make it longer? where can i get it from
you can extend your coax but everytime you add you risk of losing quality in you signal. it's always best to have 1 straight uncut lenght. that being said, if you have a electronic store of some sort, you can find a union/coupler that looks like this
i have this coupler set up at my parents house, and there's a lost of signal, what i did is put a signal booster instead of the coupler. that another option as well.
