Pansat 2700. Latest BIN is BL87 240.
Parent site: http://www.future-fta.info

Usb to Rs232 Cable is a straight cable. You used a F/F cable which is a straight cable. You need a NUll Modem cable. Best is to go and get a DB9 M/F null modem adaptor. That way your current cable on its own will have one type of pin out and when used in series with a null adaptor it will have the other type of pin out.

Did th eUSB to serial come with its own CD? You need to first deinstall the automatic installation done by XP and reinstall using the drivers on th eCD.
You need to check in your computer's device Manager the setting of COM port for the USB to serial and make sure it is COM 1 or COM 2 and select the appropriate com port in the installation of BIN onto your receiver.

summary: You have correct BIN and from correct site. You have correctly unzipped. You do not have correct cableing. You may not have correct COM port setting.

Best of luck.
