HD Tivo & Verizon Fios

Does anyone have HD Tivo (Series 3) and use Verizon Fios? Tivo says Verizon's signal is too strong and you need some sort of adapter. Also heard that Tivo doesn't accurately retrieve Verizon's show lineups. Any thoughts?
