Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 03:37 GMT Very high winds could be tree swinging in front of dish, dish moved, lots of cloud cover blocking signal.

Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 04:29 GMT u have lost the connection to ur lnb i think. Either the cable is plugged in to the reciever in the wrong place OR at the dish? Check the cable. King isnt a very bright person, i wouldnt listen to him. He will have u chasing bins all over the place.

Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 11:48 GMT david you have 2 threads going on the same subject, don't do that. In your other thread I said ckeck LNB also Check you antennae settings ie. LNB type....most likely Standard/ Switch ports 1-4 if you are using one/ LNB freq. .... 11250 most likely/ if there is an option for LNB power make sure it's ON.

Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 17:11 GMT Hi Thanks for so many replies. I checked all the connections in the morning and nothing changed.. So I tried moving the dish manually but it seems to be firmly in place.. Could it be that the winds moved it so much that i don't have the signal, yet i can't move it at all with my bare hands?

Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 18:00 GMT I don't think it is wind if it was bulted good I'll try a coax cable straight from LNB to receiver before moving dish use 081226x this I know it works

Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 18:38 GMT David It don't take much to knock the dish out of alignmemt. When you tried to move the dish with you bare hands did you try side to side and up and down? I don't think your hands are as strong as the wind.Take a small level, check the mast on both sides to make sure that the mast is level. Also how is the mast secure? Check to see if your mast came loose.

Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 19:16 GMT Maybe Save u self some time go grab the factory bin reflash the box and see if u have signal and quality If u still have nothing then start screwing with the dish. Factory bin will not decrypt of course but it provides a much more stable receiver for scanning and testing signal strength.
