THIS SATELLITE IS TESTING ONLY AT THIS TIME The 77° west longitude location is a Mexican DBS Satellite location by international treaty. Currently Echostar 4 is at this location with an estimated foot print covering all of Mexico as well as the southern part of border states and extending along the Gulf coast and reaching over the Florida peninsula south of Jacksonville. Keep in mind that it is possible for Echostar to obtain the right to use this location for US service in much the same manner that 129° (a Canadian DBS slot) was obtained.
